Terms & Conditions - Aftersales
1. The title of any goods or services does not pass to the customer until all monies are received in full. Unless stated on the invoice, all monies are to be paid in full on completion of work. Nothing contained herein is designed to nor will it affect a customer’s statutory rights.
2. All monies due to JLK Vehicle Solutions in respect of Inspection, service, diagnostics and repairs carried out to the vehicle(s) specified on your invoice shall become payable when completed and the customer has been notified. If monies aren’t received by the terms set out, than JLK Vehicle Solutions reserves the right to charge a late fee set out on an individual basis.
3. No warranty will apply if a defect is caused by one or more of the following (a) Failure to inform JLK Vehicle Solutions of the defect or to have it examined, or failure to give JLK Vehicle Solutions reasonable time to rectify it (b) If goods have been misused for any racing, rallying, track days or any similar sports. (c) If any parts have been subjected to accident damage or modifications (d) If any parts have been removed and refitted by anyone other than JLK Vehicle Solutions (e) Non-adherence concerning the maintenance of goods by a person other than JLK Vehicle Solutions.
4. Subject to clause 3, JLK Vehicle solutions will give a 1 year ‘parts and labour warranty’ on all of its services except when replacing parts sourced by the customer. In this instance, a labour warranty of 1 year will still be applied if deemed a part has failed, due to negligence or incorrect fitment. If a customers part is of the wrong fitment, JLK Vehicle Solutions reserves the right to still charge for any work carried out to refit the original part, or to charge an hourly rate until the correct part has been sourced.
5. The customer acknowledges that from time to time to carry out such inspections or repairs that the vehicle will need to be road tested on the public highway. *Note that certain auxiliary items such as dashboard cameras or other media devices may be switched off to protect all parties.
6. If in JLK Vehicle Solutions reasonable opinion, that such works agreed cannot be carried out then the Customer will be notified and given options on how best to find a solution. A percentage of an original quote may be chargeable, circumstances pending.
7. Quotations- All quotations will stand for 21 days where possible. Quotations are not a ‘Final Price’ , they are an estimate and are subject to change for various reasons. JLK Vehicle Solutions reserves the right to amend such quotes without notice.
8. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with any subject or matter with works carried out between YOU ‘ The Consumer’ and US ‘ JLK Vehicle Solutions’.
9. Any Cancelations not made before the 24 hour period prior to a booking may be subjected to an admin fee unless in the event of exceptional circumstances.
10 . All terms and conditions set out here are subject to change . Where possible JLK Vehicle Solutions will give reasonable notice.
